The Malaysian Insurance Institute will be organizing the 1st Malaysia Insurance Summit 2011 on 25 – 26 July 2011. The theme is “Insurance Towards Creating Greater Value for Business Growth”. The Summit will feature a panel of key industry leaders from the insurance and financial services sector who will be discussing strategic matters pertinent to the current and future insurance industry.

The Summit provides tremendous opportunity for insurance professional in insurance, reinsurance, brokers, loss adjusters, takaful companies and corporate insurance buyers to discuss the nature of competitive threats during uncertain economic times, challenges, innovation, professionalism, business opportunities etc. It is hoped that the discussions from the Summit will lead our insurance market towards faster transformation in line with the government’s aim in achieving high income nation by 2020.

Ms. Yap Lai Kuen, Director of the Insurance and Takaful Supervision Department of Bank Negara Malaysia (Malaysia)

Ms Yap Lai Kuen is currently Director of the Insurance and Takaful Supervision Department  of Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia). Her current job functions involves the supervision of all insurance, reinsurance and  takaful companies operating in Malaysia.

Previously she was Deputy Director of the Bank Regulation Department mainly in the area of formulation of retail banking policies, consumer education and related matters.  While in Bank Regulation, she was involved in a number of initiatives to promote greater consumer education and protection.

Ms Yap is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators(UK).

CII Mr. Alexander (Sandy) W M Scott, Chief Executive Officer, The Chartered Insurance Insurance Institute (United Kingdom)

Sandy Scott graduated in medicine and surgery from Aberdeen University and spent his first ten years in the Royal Army Medical Corps achieving the rank of Major.  He then joined the Department of Health where his responsibilities included regulating the pharmaceutical industry in the United Kingdom.  In 1989 he joined the medical insurer PPP and in 1995 became Deputy Managing Director.  During this period he was also Chairman of the ABI's Medical Insurance Committee.

In 2000 he joined The Chartered Insurance Institute.  His other duties:

Mr. Leslie Mouat, Chairman, Chartis Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd (Singapore)

As Chairman of Chartis Asia Pacific, Leslie has spent the majority of his career in Asia where he has, over 27 years, held a variety of senior management positions in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand and Papua New Guinea, for Chartis (formerly AIU) one of the world’s leading property casualty insurance companies, during his tenure.

He started as a Country manager with American Home Assurance Co in Papua New Guinea in 1982 before moving to Hong Kong with AIU as an Executive Vice President in 1986.

Leslie was promoted to Senior Country Executive and President of Philam Insurance Company Limited in the Philippines, based in Manila. Leslie was responsible for all general insurance operations in the Philippines and Guam from 1989 to 1992. He also chaired the Philippines Insurance Rating Committee.

In 1992, Leslie was promoted to Senior Country Executive of New Hampshire Insurance Company Limited based in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2003, he was promoted to Regional President for Southeast Asia with management responsibility for all general insurance operations in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Guam. In 2005, he spearheaded the opening of the Chartis Vietnam operations, working closely with Vietnamese regulators to obtain our organization’s first general insurance license in Vietnam.

In 2006, his regional responsibilities were further expanded to include Hong Kong, Taiwan and the PICC relationship in PR China. From 2003 to 2009, the Chartis Southeast Asia region expanded to 3,500 employees. Revenues generated have grown from USD 650 million to USD 1.1 billion.

Leslie is heavily and actively involved with the Asia Insurance Review and has chaired many CEO panels and industry panels at numerous conferences across Asia over the years. In March 2010, with the formation of the Asia Pacific region in Chartis, (Southeast Asia region, Australasia region and PR China) Leslie was promoted to Chairman of this new structure.


Mr. Alex Low Choon Hoong, CEO/Managing Director, Jardine Lloyd Thomson Sdn Bhd (Malaysia)

After graduating with a B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Houston, Alex worked for 2 years with a trading company before joining the insurance industry in 1983 with Johnson & Higgins (now known as Marsh). He was initially responsible for the financial operations of the company before moving into client management and servicing, initially as a Unit Leader.  He oversaw account management and risk management activities and was responsible for the servicing of several large clients, with a specific emphasis on financial institutions and the financial services industry as well as construction/infrastructure projects.

Alex was appointed by Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) in April 1993 to serve as a member of the Task Force on Large and Specialised Risks. The Task Force was formed to draw up guidelines for the insurances of large and specialised risks as one of the ways and means to reduce the outflow of foreign exchange emanating from the insurance sector. These guidelines were later adopted and came into effect from January 1, 1994.

In 1998, Alex was appointed as the Head of the Specialty Department, which encompasses FinPro (Financial & Professional), Construction, Power/Utilities, Oil & Gas, Reinsurance and Captive Management.  In January 2000, he was appointed as Head of the newly formed FinPro Department, which also oversees captive management, alternative risk financing and reinsurance activities.

Alex joined JLT as a Senior Vice President in November 2001 with a special focus on Special Risks and Capital Risks. He was appointed as CEO/Managing Director in March 2003.

Alex also currently serves on the Management Committee of the Malaysian Insurance and Takaful Brokers Association (MITBA) as the Chairman.

AFR Dato' Ahmad Farouk Faizi, Director/CEO, AFR Asia Pacific Limited (Malaysia)

Dato’ Ahmad Farouk is the Chief Executive Officer of AFR Asia Pacific Limited, a Labuan based reinsurance broking company. He has more than 26 years of professional and technical experience in the Malaysian and international insurance and reinsurance markets.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the City University, London.  Dato’ Ahmad Farouk started his career as an underwriter in a local insurance company and moved on to become an insurance broker with several broking companies.   Dato’ Ahmad Farouk was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Nelson Hurst (M) Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd prior to establishing AFR Asia Pacific Limited in 1999.  Dato’ Ahmad Farouk is also currently the Chairman of Labuan International Insurance Association (LIIA)


Mr. Dwane Feehely, Insurance Advisor, Labuan International Business Financial Center (Labuan IBFC) (Malaysia)

Dwane Feehely’s career in insurance and risk management spans over 30 years, commencing in the public sector in Australia and then on to a number of senior operational, product and risk management roles with insurers, financial institutions and various other organizations in Australia, SE Asia and the Middle East. He holds bachelor degrees in engineering, business management, along with postgraduate qualifications in risk management, fire engineering and a Masters in Applied Science with specialization in risk and insurance.

Dwane is from Australia and is an experienced professional in the risk and insurance sector; he brings extensive experience to the insurance adviser role at Labuan IBFC having been responsible for large and complex national and global risk and insurance programs as well as operational insurance across several jurisdictions and companies over his career.   Dwane Feehely is based in Kuala Lumpur and is keen to promote and develop Labuan’s capacity as a regional captive insurance centre. He enjoys time with the family, dining out and travel.

AON Mr. David Maneval, Senior Director & Head of Actuarial, AON Benfield Asia (Singapore)

Mr. Hans De Cuyper, Chief Executive and Executive Director of Mayban Ageas Holding Berhad (Malaysia)

Hans De Cuyper aged 42 was appointed as the Head, Insurance & Takaful and Chief Executive Officer of Mayban Ageas Holdings Berhad (MAHB) formerly known as Mayban Fortis Holdings Berhad on 7 April 2011.

He was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MAHB and is also currently the director of MAHB subsidiaries namely Etiqa Insurance Berhad, Etiqa Overseas Investment Pte Ltd, Etiqa Life International (L) Ltd, Sri MLAB Berhad (formerly known as Mayban Life Assurance Berhad) and Peram Ranum Berhad.

Hans holds a Masters in Mathematics and Masters in Actuarial Science from Catholic University Louvain (Belgium). He has also obtained his Executive MBA – Financial Services Industry from Vlerick Management School in 2004. With an experience spanning across 20 years in the insurance industry with 7 years in Asia, he has in-depth industry expertise and regional knowledge.

Prior to assuming the position at Mayban Ageas Holdings Berhad, he was attached with Asia Fortis Insurance International in Hong Kong as the Managing Director of Risk & Finance. He was also with ING Group for more than a decade holding various positions.


Mdm. Khadijah Abdullah, CEO, The Malaysian Insurance Institute (Malaysia)

Khadijah Abdullah is currently the CEO of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII).Her professional background renders her forte in Education and Training. She started in the academic line before moving on to the corporate sector. Prior to joining MII, she was Head of Group Organizational Development with a leading Banking Group in Malaysia where she led the setting up of the Banking Group Leadership Centre. She is also the CEO of the ASEAN Insurance Training and Research Institute

She was the Vice President for Research and Publication on the Malaysian Financial Planning Council and currently sits on the Board of Trustees, MNRB Scholarship Fund and she sits on the Advisory Council of the International Centre for Leadership in Finance under Bank Negara Malaysia. At the international level, she represents the Institute in the Education Board of the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers covering 188 members across 23 countries in Africa and 28 countries in Asia.

She was a British Council scholar, Ministry of Education scholar, a Johor State scholar and also the South East Asian Ministers of Education Organization scholar. Her tertiary education began at the University of London and then went on to read her Masters at her same Alma Mater. Further she holds a Diploma in Applied Linguistics with the highly acclaimed distinction awarded by the Regional English Language Centre (RELC) in Singapore. She qualified in Education Evaluation from Ealing College of Higher Learning and Lecturing Skills from Sheffield University, both from United Kingdom.

As a student, she was elected as the student leader during her tenure while reading her Masters programme at the University of London as well as during her Diploma studies at RELC in Singapore.

She has vast experience working as a teacher, teacher trainer and university lecturer. She also served a term as State Education Assistant Director. Her experience goes beyond the borders of Malaysia as in her attachment to Christchurch College in Canterbury, and also the University of Malta


Mr. Low Teik Leong, Managing Director / CEO, BIB Insurance Brokers (Malaysia)

Commenced working in the insurance sector in 1982 in a multinational conglomerate with interest ranging from estates, engineering and manufacturing. Portfolio includes marine and casualty underwriting including overseeing the Lloyd’s survey and settling function in Malaysia.

Subsequent years were served in the insurance broking sector. Experience includes managing multinational insurance programmes. Served as the Group Insurance Manager to a large conglomerate in Malaysia and gained invaluable experience in running insurance programmes for heavy industries as well as the Financial and retailing sectors. Served approximately 3 years as Managing Director heading a few insurance companies in General insurance , Life insurance in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Also served as a director in a Takaful Operator.  Currently serving as Managing Director / CEO in a leading Malaysian Insurance broking company.


Dato' Majid Mohamad, Principal Adviser, MBM Advisers (L) Ltd (Malaysia)

Dato’ Majid is the Principal Adviser of MBM Advisers (L) Ltd., an insurance and takaful advisory outfit based in Labuan IBFC.

He started his career in the insurance industry in 1994, and had served as Chief Executive Officer of Talasco Insurance Berhad, The People’s Insurance Co. (M) Berhad, Malaysia National Insurance Berhad and Pacific & Orient Insurance Berhad. He retired as CEO of Labuan Reinsurance (L) Ltd. in December, 2010.

Prior to joining the industry, he was with Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), the regulatory authority of the finance industry in Malaysia including insurance, from 1977 to 1993 serving various departments such as Internal Audit, Bank Examination, Economic Research, Bank Regulation and Insurance Regulation.

Dato’ Majid is a graduate of University of Malaya and earned his masters in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom.  He also attended post-graduate executive programmes at Harvard Business School, U.S.A in 1989 and INSEAD, Paris in 2007.

He is currently an independent director of AIA-AFG Takaful Sdn. Bhd. and Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia. Concurrently, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Islamic Science University of Malaysia-USIM.


Swiss Re

Mr. Marcel Omar Papp, Director, Head of Swiss Re Retakaful, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

Marcel Omar Papp is the head of Swiss Re’s Retakaful operation in Kuala Lumpur, after setting it up in 2009. The Retakaful branch is the global centre for the Swiss Re Family and General Retakaful business, responsible for developing the firm's Islamic Reinsurance business, products and processes.

Until he moved to his current position, he was based in Hong Kong and Singapore for ten years in various underwriting roles, including head of the Casualty Treaty Desk and Product Manager Casualty for Asia. He started his career in insurance 17 years ago as a claims broker in the London market working for Willis. He then moved to Union Re (Zurich) working in Client Market and Underwriting functions before joining Swiss Re in 1998.

Marcel Omar holds a Masters of Arts (Business Administration) from the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (A.C.I.I.) of London.

Cranmore Mr. Philip Cooper, Director, Cranmore Adjusters Limited (United Kingdom)

Philip Cooper ACII, CIP commenced working in the insurance and reinsurance industry in 1977.  In addition to his general inspection and litigation support work, leading teams in the London Market, Europe, the U.S.A. and the Middle East, Philip has specialised in matters relating to Long Tail claim handling and binding authority and third party administrator/managing general agent reviews.

Philip is also responsible for the development and delivery of training products and he has delivered training to insurance organisations and educational establishments in the London Market, Europe and North America on such matters as the management of delegated underwriting, Accident and Health business and the handling of long tail product liability claims.

Commenced work for the Eagle Star Group before joining a third-party consultancy firm in 1990. He then joined SUM (subsequently Equitas) before re-joining the consultancy field in 1996. Philip was one of the founding members of Cranmore in August 1999 and is a Director of the company


Mr. Shahril Azuar Jimin, CEO, eTiqa Takaful Berhad (Malaysia)

Shahril Azuar Jimin is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa Takaful Berhad. He is also concurrently, the Chief Sales Officer for Etiqa Insurance and Takaful which is the brand name of the operational entities under Mayban Ageas Holdings Berhad, and represents the insurance and takaful arm of Maybank, Malaysia’s largest financial services group.

In his capacity as the Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa Takaful Berhad, Shahril helms a composite Takaful company that has recorded a total revenue of RM2.369 billion (USD776.7 million) for its 2009/2010 financial year, ended 30th June 2010, making it the first Takaful company to surpass the RM2 billion mark.

As the Chief Sales Officer of Etiqa Insurance & Takaful, Shahril is responsible for overseeing all the sales channels for insurance and takaful solutions. He leads the comprehensive Etiqa sales channels in the formulation of strategies, distribution, and development of the insurance and takaful businesses.

The distribution channels include 20,000 plus insurance and takaful agents, 33  Etiqa branches throughout Malaysia, a comprehensive Bancassurance network, as well as enterprise and corporate channels. The contact centre called Etiqa Oneline which handles about 90,000 calls monthly, and the Etiqa Academy are also under his purview.

Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President / Head, Corporate Planning & Strategy of Etiqa, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Tower Watson

Mr. Ronald T. Kozlowski, FCAS MAAA Director & Head of General Insurance  Consulting, Asia Pacific, Tower Watson (Hong Kong)

Ron is the Director & Head of General Insurance Risk Practice in Asia for Towers Watson, overseeing the non-life operations in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, and India. Ron is based out of Hong Kong.

Ron started his career in 1986 as a pricing and reserving actuary for Aetna Life & Casualty in the Hartford. From 1992 to 2009 Ron worked in the Towers Watson offices in Hartford, Atlanta and San Francisco. In San Francisco, Ron ran Towers Watson’s property & casualty practice for the U.S. West Coast and also assisted with Asian projects. In April of 2009, Ron relocated to Hong Kong.

Ron has worked on a variety of projects during his career including pricing, reserving, product development, mergers and acquisitions, market entry, strategy consulting, catastrophe exposure management, enterprise risk management and expert testimony.

Ron currently sits on the Casualty Actuarial Society’s (CAS) Board of Directors and a number of committees, providing insight on international issues. Ron is also a member/associate in the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong, Singapore Actuarial Society, and the Institute of Actuaries of India.

Ron is a frequent speaker on various insurance issues including: general insurance and regulatory issues across Asia, pricing, reserving, catastrophe exposure management, enterprise risk management, and mergers & acquisitions. In the past two plus years, Ron has represented the CAS and Towers Watson in giving speeches at insurance conferences and seminars in Korea, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India and the U.S


Mr. Kent Chaplin, Head of Asia Pacific, Managing Director Lloyd’s Asia (Singapore)

Kent Chaplin qualified with honours as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand, specialising in insurance and commercial litigation.

Moving to the United Kingdom in 1996, Kent practised as an insurance solicitor for leading London law firm Herbert Smith, before his appointment as Claims Director for Aon Limited’s Professional Risks division, specialising in financial institutions, professional indemnity and directors & officers’ liability.

Kent joined Lloyd's in October 2004 as the Head of Claims to implement Lloyd's claims management strategy and to provide leadership on market-wide claims and major loss issues.  He was responsible for defining and implementing the claims performance management framework for the Lloyd’s market, including minimum standards and all aspects of claims operational, technology and process reform.  Kent successfully led the Claims Transformation Project and Talent Programmes for the Lloyd’s market.

In January 2011, Kent was appointed Head of Asia Pacific and Managing Director of Lloyd’s Asia, where he is responsible for managing the Lloyd’s Asia platform and extending Lloyd’s footprint in the Asia Pacific region.  His role is to ensure effective management and oversight of Lloyd’s offices, to set Lloyd’s strategy, to ensure standards are met, to support business planning, to develop an operational framework that promotes business and represent Lloyd’s in its compliance with all laws and regulations.  His role is also to support the business development activities and develop the country markets in the region.

Mr. Matt Harris, CEO, Chartis Malaysia Insurance Berhad, Malaysia

Matt Harris was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Chartis Malaysia Insurance Berhad on 3 August 2010.

Before joining Chartis Malaysia, Matt was Chief Executive Officer of Chartis New Zealand (formerly known as AIG New Zealand), a post he held for a year and a half. During that time, he was a member of Chartis’ Regional Audit and Investment Committees as well as a Board Member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand.

Prior to his time in New Zealand, Matt was based in Mumbai as Chief Representative in India for Insurance Australia Group (IAG). He played a key role there in securing State Bank of India as IAG’s joint venture partner.

In all, Matt has more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry, having started his career as a Claims and Underwriting Technician at Commercial Union Insurance. Over the years, he has worked in many disciplines within the industry and in several locations including London, Melbourne, Victoria and Tasmania.

Matt completed the Executive Finance Program at Mt Eliza Business School in Victoria and is a senior associate member with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.  An Australian, Matt is married with four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and keeping fit.

TAKAFUL Ikhlas YBhg Dato’ Hj. Syed Moheeb Syed Kamarulzaman, President & Chief Executive Officer and Director Takaful IKHLAS (Malaysia)

YBHG. DATO' HAJI SYED MOHEEB BIN SYED KAMARULZAMAN ,aged 58, Non-Independent Executive Director since 2003. Also President/ Chief Executive Officer of Takaful IKHLAS Sdn. Bhd. Has 30 years experience in the insurance industry. He has helmed several local and multinational direct insurance and reinsurance companies.

Currently, he is a Board member of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) and sits on its Executive Committee. He is the Chairman of Malaysian Takaful Association. Also sits on the Mercantile Insurance Sdn. Bhd. (in Liquidation) Claims Council, an advisory committee for liquidators, is a Director of Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad and a member of International Center for Education in Islamic Finance Professional Development Council.

Lonpac Mr. Tan Kok Guan, CEO, Lonpac Insurance Bhd (Malaysia)

Mr. Tan Kok Guan, aged 55, is the Chief Executive Officer of Lonpac Insurance Bhd (Lonpac). He joined Lonpac as Deputy General Manager in 1994. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Lonpac's holding company, LPI Capital Bhd. He is presently not involved in any Board Committee of Lonpac but fully focused on discharging his duties and responsibilities as the Chief Executive Officer of Lonpac.

Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Hons.) from the University of London, United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii. He is also a Chartered Insurer of the Chartered Insurance Institute at London and an Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute at Kuala Lumpur.


Ms. Lee Yee Ming, General Manager, Policy & International Division, Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) (Malaysia)

Lee Yee Ming is the General Manager, Policy and International Division. She is responsible for PIDM's key policy areas and international relations. Her main responsibilities are to proactively assess, develop and propose policies that concern the mandate and operations of PIDM and which help advance the views and interests of PIDM; and, lead to position PIDM internationally in its mission and vision. She was previously the Chief Risk Officer of PIDM, heading the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Division and was responsible for the implementation of PIDM’s ERM framework on an organisation-wide basis and assists the Board in ensuring that PIDM’s significant risks are being consistently and continuously identified, assessed, managed, monitored and reported on.

She has over 10 years of consulting and banking experiences in ERM, Basel II, corporate governance and internal audit. She began her career in the U.S. with a financial institution in Illinois and subsequently joined Ernst & Young in the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Taipei, Taiwan offices. With regard to ERM, she has advised organisations in Malaysia and internationally on the implementation of their respective ERM frameworks. She has also assisted banks in Taiwan as the overall project manager in their Basel II system implementation and Basel II related implementation projects. She holds an honours degree in business administration (summa cum laude) and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Western Michigan University. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor.


Mr. Jens Reisch, CEO of Allianz Malaysia Berhad  & Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd (Malaysia)

Mr. Jens Reisch has been the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Malaysia Berhad since August 2010. Mr. Reisch having been with Allianz since 1983, Reisch has gained wide-ranging insurance experience from diverse assignments starting from operations and training to sales and marketing covering life insurance and general insurance. He has vast experience in managing insurance business for the Asia Pacific region and in 2003, he was appointed as chief executive officer of PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia. He was appointed as country head of Allianz in Indonesia in 2007. He serves as Director of Allianz Malaysia Berhad

Mr. Mohamad Salihuddin Ahmad, Executive Director & CEO, Great Eastern Takaful (Malaysia)

Mohamad Salihuddin Ahmad was born in Jitra, Kedah on 17th May 1963.  He was brought up in Penang and received his secondary education at Mara Junior Science College, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

Salihuddin graduated with a degree in Science from Indiana State University and received his Masters in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin University, Texas USA.

He started his career as a lecturer at University Utara Malaysia before making a daring step to join the corporate world.  His journey in the insurance industry has taken him through the whole cycle of life and general insurance covering both retail and corporate businesses.  His 24 years experience in the insurance industry has provided him with a strong foundation on both marketing and operations of various distribution channels covering agency, bancassurance, branch and corporate intermediaries.

He was Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales Support Division, Mayban Fortis Holdings Berhad from September 2004 to December 2005. In December 2005, he was promoted as the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia National Insurance Berhad (MNI) after the acquisition by Mayban Fortis Holdings Berhad. Being a man who loves challenges, he then decided to take up the challenge to spearhead the new Takaful setup, Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (PruBSN) in June 2006.

After leading PruBSN to become the number 1 Takaful New Family Business Operator in Malaysia, he left and join Great Eastern Group in September 2009 to spearhead another challenging task of establishing Great Eastern’s takaful strategy both in Malaysia and regionally.

Under his leadership, Great Eastern managed to secure one the the four Takaful licenses issued by Bank Negara Malaysia on 1 September 2010 and was the first to launch among on 10 December 2010.

A homely person and a strong believer of family values, Salihuddin is very much attached to his wife and four wonderful sons.  He believes that a balance between work and family is very important and spends much of his spare time with his family.  Salihuddin enjoys meeting people. He also enjoys bowling and exchanging new ideas.  He loves doing things that others think impossible.  His purpose in life is to educate, share and help people because he believes that every human being deserves to be the BEST they can be.

Mr. Mohamed Parrish Ersalle Bin Abdul Hameed , Chief Human Resource Officer, Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (Malaysia)

He graduated with Honours in Bachelor of Business Administration from International Islamic University in 1991. By and large, he has twenty (20) over years of Human Resources experience and has been described as a people-oriented HR practitioner. Mr. Mohamed Parrish has been recently bestowed as the HR Director of 2010 at the recent HR Excellence Award SEA Summit organized by Naseeba in association with Monster.com.

Mohamed Parrish Ersalle Bin Abdul Hameed is the Chief Human Resource Officer for Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad. Prior to joining Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad, he was the Group Head of Human Resource for Allianz Malaysia Berhad where he was responsible for the entire HR spectrum for Allianz Malaysia Berhad as well as providing HR services to Allianz Malaysia group of companies. Looking back at his experiences, he was attached to several MNCs, namely as HR Relations Manager with Nestle Products Sdn. Bhd., Training Manager at BASF (M) Sdn. Bhd., and HR Development Manager at JT International Trading.
